How we handle your data

Our customers' trust matters. Here we explain, clearly, how Wably handles the information needed to run the service.

What data Wably needs

To manage appointments, Wably processes the essential information:

  • Your business details (profile).
  • The contacts the assistant talks to.
  • The conversations and appointments handled via WhatsApp and the calendar.

What it's used for

Data is used solely to run the service: replying to messages, taking and managing appointments, syncing the calendar and sending reminders.

The connections you authorise

Wably connects to WhatsApp Business and Google Calendar only after your authorisation, which you can revoke at any time by disconnecting the respective services from the setup.

Where your data is stored

Wably is hosted on Oracle Cloud, one of the most solid and reliable cloud infrastructures in the world, run by a major American multinational that leads the tech sector. It's the same class of infrastructure used by banks, insurers and large companies that can't compromise on security.

European data, on European soil

Your data is stored in data centres located in Europe (Frankfurt, Germany). This is a key point:

  • Your data never leaves the European Union and is subject to European law, among the strictest in the world for personal-data protection.
  • The infrastructure is fully GDPR compliant, the European General Data Protection Regulation.
  • You get the best of both worlds: the power and reliability of a major global infrastructure, with the legal protection guaranteed by the European framework.

Multi-layered security

  • Encryption: data is encrypted, both in transit and at rest.
  • Isolation per practice: each customer's data is kept separate and accessible only to the owner. No mixing between different businesses.
  • Certified data centres: redundancy, continuous monitoring and enterprise-grade physical and digital security standards.
  • No health data: Wably handles only neutral service categories and collects no health data, staying outside the scope of Article 9 of the GDPR.

A five-star infrastructure

With Wably, your data and your clients' data rest on a world-class platform, hosted in Europe and protected by European law. The same care you put into your work, applied to data security.
