What is Wably? It's an AI assistant that, on WhatsApp, answers your clients about services, prices and common questions and manages appointments (bookings, reschedules, reminders) in place of a receptionist, 24/7.

Does Wably really reply to clients, or just send reminders? It replies. Unlike scheduling tools that only send notifications, Wably has a conversation: it explains your services, shares prices, answers FAQs and, in the same chat, suggests times and confirms the booking.

Do my clients need to install anything? No. They keep using WhatsApp as always. Wably works behind the scenes on your number.

Can I use my current WhatsApp Business number? Yes. The connection is a one-time, guided process. No new number and no changes to your business cards.

What do I need to use Wably? A Google account with Google Calendar (which Wably uses as the calendar) and Google Contacts (for the address book), plus your business's WhatsApp Business number. Nothing else: no app to install.

How long does setup take? Do I need to be technical? No technical skills required. Setup is guided and takes a few minutes: describe your services, prices, hours and answers to common questions in your own words.

Which languages does the assistant reply in? Wably automatically detects the language of the person writing and responds in your customer's native language. Ideal for tourist venues or businesses with an international clientele.

Does Wably replace me or my work? No. Wably doesn't replace the professional and doesn't make decisions for you: it only handles the organisational side — answering questions, booking, managing reschedules, sending reminders and review requests.

Is my data safe? Yes. The infrastructure runs on Oracle Cloud in Europe (Frankfurt), data is encrypted and isolated per practice, and Wably collects no health data, in line with the GDPR. See How we handle your data.

Controlling the assistant

Can I decide who Wably replies to? Yes. From the Address book you activate or pause the assistant, overall or per contact.

If I pause the assistant, do I lose messages? No. Messages still arrive on WhatsApp; the assistant simply doesn't reply.

Does the assistant message the contacts I import? No. Imported contacts stay paused until you activate them.

Appointments

Where do the appointments taken by the assistant end up? In your Google Calendar, automatically.

Can Wably offer times when I'm not available? No. It only offers times consistent with your schedule and your calendar.

When are reminders sent? The day before the appointment, at 11:00. The client can confirm, reschedule or cancel in one tap. Automatic reminders are included from the Standard plan.

Does Wably help reduce absences and no-shows? Yes. The automatic reminder the day before can be a simple notification or a confirmation request with Confirm and Reschedule buttons, so anyone who can't make it frees up the slot in time.

Can I still manage appointments by hand? Of course. You can create, move or delete appointments directly in your Google Calendar: Wably stays in sync and keeps replying to clients with up-to-date information. The calendar remains the single source of truth.
