Double bookings almost never come from major disorganisation.
They come from small gaps: an appointment noted on WhatsApp but not in the calendar, a forgotten reschedule, a provisional note, availability shared too quickly.
The result, though, is very visible: two people in the same slot and a practice that has to apologise.
A physiotherapist doesn't always need a huge management system.
Often they need something far more concrete: to receive requests, reply quickly, organise appointments, cut no-shows and not waste time juggling messages and calendar.
The right software isn't the one with the most features. It's the one that solves the most frequent problem.
Not every appointment carries the same weight.
A first visit needs time to understand, listen, gather information and set up the plan. A follow-up can be shorter. A treatment may have a different duration again.
And yet many practices keep using identical slots.
