Business profile: your practice's details, language and time zone¶
In short: the Profile screen holds your business and account details. It's the information the assistant introduces you to clients with and, in the case of the time zone, what it works out the times it offers from.
At the top there's a green band with your active plan and the Manage button, which takes you to subscription management.
The three panels¶
Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Fields on a grey background can't be edited from this page.
- Business: Company (required), VAT number (read-only) and Business type (required, e.g. Physiotherapy). These are the details the assistant introduces you with and that billing is based on.
- Account: Name (required), Email (read-only, it's the address you sign in with), Phone, Business country (required), Language and Time zone.
- Billing address: Address, City, Postal code and Country, all read-only. These details are handled by Stripe and are filled in when you pay for your subscription.
The review link isn't here
The link the assistant sends to ask for a review is set in Info & services, in the Review link field. Automatic sending is switched on from the Home, with the Review request toggle.
Why these details matter to the assistant¶
The profile looks like the most bureaucratic part of the setup. In fact three of these fields change how the assistant behaves every day.
Business type steers the vocabulary the assistant reads requests with. The questions that reach a physiotherapy practice aren't the ones that reach a beauty salon, and knowing which context it's in helps it understand them correctly.
Time zone is the reference every time it offers is calculated against. It's the field that deserves the most attention: a wrong time zone doesn't produce a visible error, it produces appointments booked at the wrong hour.
Language sets how the assistant addresses whoever writes in when there's nothing to suggest otherwise. It isn't a constraint: the assistant still replies in the language each client writes in, as explained in multilingual AI WhatsApp assistant.
How the assistant builds its replies out of these details is described in conversational AI assistant on WhatsApp.
How to edit your details¶
- Edit the fields you need directly: they're always editable, there's no edit mode to switch on.
- As soon as you change something, a bar with Cancel and Save appears at the bottom of the page.
- Tap Save to confirm, or Cancel to restore the previous values.
Required fields must stay filled in. Only the fields you've actually changed are saved.
Good to know¶
Business country is the country you operate in. Together with the time zone it defines the context the assistant works in, and it's a required field.
The language chosen in Language is your business's main language. This doesn't limit the assistant: it still replies to every client in the language they write in.
The Time zone matters: based on it, the assistant calculates and offers the correct appointment times, even for clients writing from abroad.
If you change the time zone after you've already taken bookings, check the appointments already in your calendar before considering the change done: future times will be calculated against the new reference.
Once the profile is filled in, the next step is defining when you're available, on the business hours screen.
