Google Contacts

If you already have a client address book on Google, you can bring it into Wably. You connect it from the Google Contacts card on the Integrations screen.

How to connect your contacts

  1. Open the Integrations screen (from step 5 of the Guided activation).
  2. Tap the connect button in the Google Contacts card.
  3. In the Google window, select the account and authorise access.
  4. When done, the card shows the status Connected.

Importing and updating the list

Once connected, go to the Contacts screen and use the Sync button to load or update your contact list.

No surprise messages

Imported contacts arrive with the assistant switched off by default: no one receives messages until you activate it, from the Contacts screen.

If you want to skip that step for a contact you're creating right now, you can turn the assistant on by writing bot in the Google contact notes.

Your contacts are safe

Wably imports and syncs contacts into its own protected storage, but it never deletes a contact from your Google address book: it can read and add, never remove. Your contacts stay 100% safe.

What's more, when a new client books for the first time, Wably creates the contact automatically, so you never lose a name.

From the Home you can also switch on the Save new contacts to Google Contacts toggle, which adds the new contacts created from bookings to your Google address book, only if you want it to.

The connection status is always visible on the Integrations card of the Home.
