Why Wably: appointments where your clients already write¶
There are many ways to manage appointments: the phone, messages, a paper diary, booking software. Wably starts from a simple observation, that your clients already message you on WhatsApp, and turns that channel into your assistant.
The point is not to add one more tool. It is to take work away from where it piles up.
The benefits you'll notice right away¶
You're where your clients are. No link to send, no app to install, no form to fill in. Booking happens in the chat people use every day, on the WhatsApp number you already have.
You always reply, without being there. The first reply arrives within seconds, at any hour. People looking for an appointment tend to book with whoever answers first, and in the evening or at the weekend that is rarely you.
Less time lost on the phone. The questions that come back every week, like opening hours or how long a treatment takes, are handled by the assistant. You only step in when it really matters.
Fewer no-shows, a fuller diary. Automatic reminders recall the appointment the day before and, if you want, again on the day itself: anyone who can't make it says so in time instead of disappearing.
In the client's language. The assistant detects the language of whoever writes and replies in Italian, Spanish, English, French or Portuguese.
Why WhatsApp and not a booking link¶
A booking link works well when the person already knows what they want. But someone writing to a practice often doesn't: they want to understand first whether you treat their problem, how much it costs, how long it takes, whether they need to bring anything.
A booking form doesn't answer those questions. It hands them back to you, and meanwhile the person closes the page. Every extra step between the question and the confirmation is a point where someone drops out: open the link, choose the service, find the slot, leave their details.
In conversation those steps disappear. The person asks, gets an answer, picks a time and is done, without leaving the app they were already using.
Why replying by hand isn't enough¶
Replying by hand works, as long as the volume is low and you are free. The problem is that the two almost never coincide: messages arrive while you are with a client, and by the time you are free it is nine in the evening.
So the day ends with half an hour of backlog, and the messages that arrived in the meantime have already waited hours. It isn't a problem of organisation, it's a problem of overlap: your work and your front desk ask for the same time.
Wably doesn't take the conversation away from you. You can reply yourself whenever you want, pause the assistant for a single contact or pick up a chat halfway through. It only takes away the part that repeats itself the same way every time.
What about chatbots?¶
A generic chatbot converses but doesn't see your diary, so at best it can collect a request and pass it on to you. The point by point comparison is on the Wably vs WhatsApp chatbots page.
Built for people who work by appointment¶
Wably is built around the needs of people who live on direct relationships and a full diary: health and rehabilitation professionals, wellbeing practitioners, beauty salons, tattoo studios, pet grooming salons. Find your category page in who Wably is for.
The features described on this page are not all included in both plans: the comparison is on the plans and pricing page.
Seeing before deciding¶
You can try the assistant without signing up and without connecting anything: open the WhatsApp assistant demo and write the way one of your clients would.
