WhatsApp service messages charged from October 2026: 1,000 stay free every month

From 1 October 2026 Meta goes back to charging for the replies you send on WhatsApp Business. The news is going around as a price rise, and for anyone handling thousands of conversations a day it is one. For an appointment-based practice the conclusion is different: Meta includes 1,000 free service messages every month on every phone number, and that allowance covers a normal practice without coming anywhere near the limit.
